Christ the King

Jesus establishes a spiritual kingdom and commands His servants to transact business until He returns. Faithful servants are rewarded with a kingdom, and the wicked with total destruction. His royalty is expressed when Jesus exercises eminent domain, the prerogative of a king, in taking the colt to ride on. In Psalm 72:8, Jesus’ kingdom extends over the nations, “from sea to sea.” Christ demands complete sovereignty over our lives.
