Purity and Fidelity

by Joe Boot

September 11, 2011 | Proverbs 5

Your Rod and Staff

by Scott Masson

August 28, 2011 | Proverbs 12:1-2

Our church is called to a ministry of nurture, which includes church discipline. You can't sin and say it's no one else's business. We live in community. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. by Joe Boot

August 21, 2011 | Proverbs 29:25; Nehemiah 6:1-16

Fear can lead to dread, which leads to an inability to move or act as humans. Fear of God is the opposite of fear of man. When we face enemies while doing God's work, we're secure because it is God who stands behind us granting us strength.

Moral Madness

by Joe Boot

August 14, 2011 | Proverbs 17:12; Ecclesiastes 9:3; Ps 14

Moral madness leads to self-deception, observed in the inability to recognize one's own rebellion against God's moral order. We either intellectually deny God's existence, or we deny God practically by the way we live.
