Hebrews and the High Priesthood

Earthly fathers are imperfect, but God's discipline is always appropriate and it is for our good.

Though incomplete and imperfect, we know that our faith is used by God to accomplish His purposes.

Moses' faith was a specific and practical faith, taking risks and taking action. Moses had to face God at the burning bush; he had to confront Pharaoh; and he led rebellious Israel.

We, by faith, are enabled to look forward, seeing all things in time and eternity according to God's glorious purposes.

We either advance, like Christian in Pilgrim's Progress, or we turn around in apostasy. We are to remember our confidence and persevere to the end to claim the prize.

Christians have largely withdrawn from acts of charity, service, and education. Talk of love abounds but love needs to take action.
